Why do you want to be a tutor?
- I love learning and teaching. Helping young people to succeed--not just to get by, but to excel--is meaningful for me. Life is richer when a person retains the natural curiosity we all have from a young age. What could be more rewarding than to help someone rediscover that sense of wonderment and become a lifelong learner?
Why should a student pick you?
- I make learning active and exciting, while helping students to gain rock-solid confidence. Because I'm skillful at explaining and simplifying complicated tasks, students find much easier, step by step approaches to problems. Ten years of experience as a classroom teacher and a counselor, plus eleven years of tutoring, enable me to tailor my teaching to the individual needs and learning style of each student and has led to success again and again.
